This Might Be The Coolest Office We’ve Visited in KL!


Finally, about a decade after the government first unveiled its plans to develop Kuala Lumpur’s financial district, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) officially received its first tenant.
Prudential Assurance Malaysia Bhd chief executive officer Gan Leong Hin was quoted: “We are extremely proud to be the first company to move into world-class financial district TRX. More importantly, all of Prudential’s businesses in Malaysia are now operating under one roof.” (thestar.com.my)
Moving Walls was honoured to be invited, for an office tour, and we definitely left feeling inspired and amazed!

Each floor of the office building is a showcase design theme related to nature, arts, culture and key attractions around Malaysia. There’s even a floor where the pantry was designed like a high-end cinema!

Employees are free to move around at a variety of workspace options; from the standard work desks, to open collaboration spaces with comfy sofas, to isolated meeting rooms and focus pods.
Integrating work, play and makan-makan, Menara Prudential’s indoor work cafes are definitely the best boast of the building.
Each floor of the office spaces has its very own uniquely themed warungs and mamak stall inspired cafes, designed to promote employee engagement and provide a very cool space for workers to calmly get things done or just kick back and chit-chat.

Prudential, a traditional British multinational insurance, and financial services company, had always been at the forefront of digital transformation.

Chief Transformation and Operations officer Teh Kim Leng said, “the company had spent RM250 million for its digital transformation initiatives since 2014, adopting advanced technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) to support its future growth.” (nst.com.my)
