We were the only Malaysian-based company to be named in the First Unilever Foundry 30 Southeast Asia and Australasia (SEAA), technology companies identified as most likely to affect technological and social change in the region. The Unilever Foundry is Unilever’s platform for innovators to engage, collaborate and explore business opportunities with Unilever and its 400+ brands.
Great Outdoor Digital Sale (G.O.D.S.)2016
We launched the first ever cyber sale for outdoor advertising - The Great Outdoor Digital Sale - in late 2016. The sale offered audience-targeted outdoor advertising packages at discounted rates. The results were overwhelming - over seven million spots were booked on 1,000+ digital screens at 200 locations. The G.O.D.S. is now a biannual event with more screens, more locations, and hyperlocal targeting available.
MOVING AUDIENCES ASIA2016
Having signed up more than 40 media partners in five Asian countries, we officially launched Moving Audiences Asia towards the end of 2016. This was done via a media event held in Singapore and attended by our regional media partners, industry associations, clients, and media representatives.
ESTABLISH REGIONAL OFFICES2016
Out-of-Home advertising is the fastest growing traditional media channel and Asia Pacific is set to become the largest market. Having successfully deployed digital outdoor advertising solutions in Malaysia, we received interest from regional media owners and clients. To capitalise on neighbouring markets, we set up operations in India and Singapore in 2016.
We created the Love Generator to connect students to creative agencies and enable them to design real creative campaigns. This gave the students a practical real-world experience and gave agencies a talent pool of creative people for future hires. More than 100 student teams signed up for the challenge.
Malaysia's "Brand Olympics", Moving Minds, was an outdoor advertising challenge for leading brands to showcase their creativity on Malaysia's tallest digital screen. We designed the challenge to literally "Move Minds" and change perceptions about outdoor advertising. With digital screens, there are new and exciting opportunities for consumer engagement.
