Lead – Growth and Expansion Mastrum – Japanese Speaking

Position Overview

The Lead – Growth and Expansion is a critical role designed to lead the global growth & expansion of Mastrum, by driving inbound sales, expanding market presence, and aligning marketing initiatives with sales objectives. Reporting to the Marketing Head, the individual will develop strategies, create impactful content, and execute campaigns to increase brand visibility and revenue growth. Fluency in Japanese is a requirement to effectively engage with local stakeholders and audiences.


Key Responsibilities

1. Inbound Sales Support

  • Design and execute marketing strategies to drive global inbound leads for the Japanese market.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create targeted campaigns that cater to specific market segments.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track, analyze, and optimize lead generation performance.

2. Content Creation & Management

  • Develop compelling marketing materials, including case studies, white papers, presentations, and email campaigns.
  • Create and manage content updates across digital platforms, such as websites, social media, and email newsletters, ensuring alignment with Mastrum’s brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to localize and integrate content for the Japanese audience.

3. Market Expansion Support & Performance Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and support entry into new regions.
  • Plan and execute campaigns tailored to specific geographies, ICPs, and industry verticals.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., CTR, conversion rates) and prepare actionable reports for stakeholders.

4. Event and Partnership Coordination

  • Plan and manage events, webinars, and co-marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Support the development and execution of client and partner engagements, including CMO breakfasts, DSP days, and networking events.
  • Coordinate partnerships with industry stakeholders to amplify Mastrum’s reach.

5. Lead Generation

  • Design and implement innovative lead-generation campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Leverage analytics tools to track lead performance and ensure a high conversion rate.
  • Develop customer personas and market segmentation to optimize campaign targeting.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

  1. Lead Generation:
    • Generate a specified number of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) per quarter.
    • Maintain or improve conversion rates from lead to customer.
  2. Event and Campaign Success:
    • Execute at least two high-impact events or campaigns per quarter.
    • Achieve measurable increases in brand visibility and engagement metrics.
  3. Content Impact:
    • Publish a defined number of case studies, white papers, and campaign reports quarterly.
    • Meet engagement targets for content downloads, clicks, and shares.
  4. Market Expansion:
    • Identify and penetrate at least one new market or industry vertical within the first year.
    • Support the launch of localized campaigns in new geographies.
  5. Performance Reporting:
    • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to refine marketing strategies based on campaign performance data.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in marketing or sales support, ideally within the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Proven ability to manage marketing campaigns and support sales initiatives.

Skills

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Canva, RenderForest, PipeDrive, Looker Studio, and Apollo.Ai.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Zoho) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese (mandatory).
  • Ability to craft persuasive marketing materials tailored to different audiences.
