SEO/SEM, Analytics Specialist

Overview:

The SEO/SEM, Analytics Specialist at Moving Walls will play an essential role in driving digital marketing performance through strategic optimization of search engines and advertising platforms. This individual will be responsible for improving organic search visibility (SEO) and managing search campaigns (SEM) to drive qualified traffic and conversions. Additionally, they will analyze digital performance across various marketing channels, providing insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, experience in search engine marketing, and a deep understanding of data-driven decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. SEO Strategy and Optimization:
    • Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
    • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and SEO improvement.
    • Optimize website structure, content, and metadata to improve search engine crawlability and indexation.
  2. SEM Campaign Management:
    • Manage and optimize paid search campaigns on Google Ads, Linkedin Ads, and other SEM platforms.
    • Monitor ad performance, keyword bidding, and budgeting to maximize ROI.
    • Perform A/B testing on ads and landing pages to improve ad relevance and conversion rates.
  3. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze SEO and SEM performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
    • Provide weekly and monthly reports on traffic, rankings, conversions, and paid search performance.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  4. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
    • Work with the web development and design teams to improve website UX/UI for better conversion rates.
    • Implement tools and strategies such as heatmaps, user behavior analysis, and A/B testing to optimize the conversion process.
  5. Content Strategy Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content creation.
    • Provide recommendations on keyword targeting, internal linking strategies, and content structure.
  6. Competitor Analysis:
    • Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark SEO and SEM performance against key competitors.
    • Identify new trends and opportunities in the search landscape to stay ahead of the competition.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Cross-Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing, creative, and development teams to ensure alignment on SEO and SEM strategies.
    • Assist the content team in creating SEO-friendly content for blogs, landing pages, and other digital assets.
  2. Training and Development:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO/SEM trends and share best practices and insights with internal teams.
    • Train team members on SEO and SEM practices to foster a culture of search engine optimization within the company.
  3. Budget and Performance Tracking:
    • Assist in managing SEM budgets to ensure cost-effective use of advertising funds.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for budget allocation based on performance data.
  4. Customer Insights and Market Trends:
    • Analyze customer behavior and market trends to inform SEO/SEM strategy.
    • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to guide marketing and content strategies.

  1. Increase in organic search traffic and rankings for target keywords by 30%
  2. ROI from paid search campaigns, including conversions and cost-per-click to be maintained at 4x on paid campaigns with reduced CPC.
  3. Improvement in website conversion rates and engagement metrics by 10% MoM.
  4. Timeliness, accuracy and 100% delivery of SEO and SEM performance reports with actionable insights.
  5. Performance improvements from A/B tests and CRO strategies. Competitive Benchmarking: Identify and implement at least 3 new strategies inspired by competitor analysis each quarter.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in SEO/SEM, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable results through SEO/SEM campaigns.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
  • Experience managing paid campaigns using Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Basic understanding of web development concepts and UX/UI principles for CRO.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
